Firehouse Grill Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

My wife and I were driving through Blue Ash and found The Firehouse Grill and decided to give it a shot! The inside was HUGE!!! Plenty of room for large parties. Good size outdoor eating area, but was closed due to preparations for the Blue Ash Fireworks which are right across the street. Our waiter was awesome going over each part of the menu and recommending things that he has tried and liked. I ordered The Chief Steakhouse burger, cooked to my asking of medium. Order came out quick and hot. Sandwich was awesome and my wife said her wrap was very good as well. We will come back!!

I'll start with the only negative: Service was spotty. We waited a little too long for my taste for a server to stop by when we were first seated, and even then he wasn't 100% sure he was our server. He was nice and helpful, but seemed a little lost and confused at times. They weren't too busy and the other servers seemed to know what was going on, so maybe he was new or having an off day. Our experience improved as the meal progressed, but I'm a stickler about having a drink within a few minutes of being seated. On to the rest of the review: The location was convenient to our hotel. The young girls at the hostess desk were friendly and playful with our young son. Plenty of TVs showing several college football games. We were seated in the dining area just outside of the bar with several other families with young children. The food was very good. My husband had the salmon and loved it. I had a spicy burger and sweet potato fries (highly recommend). Even my son's mac and cheese was very good. Great beer selection and our server was good about recommending local brews.

Pizza that you can order or create among other things. Buffalo rolls are good and the shredded beef tacos were good, but smothered with sauce.

I only went for apps and drinks with a large group of people. They do have plenty of room for socializing. The hostess led me to my table of friends rather than just pointing. We had one server assigned to our large party. He seemed to keep up with everything. The kitchen however was on the slow side. The wings were nothing special. I did not get to try the artichoke dip, but it certainly looked good. I had a buffalo chicken burrito of sorts, and it was absolutely addictive. As others have mentioned, this establishment had been several different restaurants over the years. It is a great location, yet nothing has been outstanding and stuck around. The building is much unchanged, and Firehouse does not seem to have done much in the way of making this place their own. The atmosphere is mostly nondescript. That being said, the food was hit and miss, and the service was good for our group of people. If the location works for you, they a worth a visit.

Below average food, incomplete order, incompetent staff on the phone. Disappointed!

This might just be my family's favorite restaurant to frequent because A.) it's uber-family-friendly, and B.) the food is exceptional. My first visit here was with my parents, as they were visiting us for the weekend. We took them, my 4 year old son, wife, and our then 2-week-old son for dinner. My oldest son spent time outside marveling at the fire truck, and then seemed to be in utopia upon entering when it clicked that this place had a firefighter theme. But the adults wanted some good eats, and we were greeted by a very friendly wait staff. Service was prompt, not overzealous, and to-the-point. The menu is simple, well laid out, and we placed our orders. I had the BBQ chicken pizza. The atmosphere is open and airy, with some very cool old belt fans keeping the air moving. In the center of the space is a welcoming bar. Surrounding the space are large flat-screen TVs that had a respectable volume, and were set high enough up that they were not in eye-shot if you were looking at someone across the table so as to distract from a good conversation. Our food was served hot and quick. My meal was very good, and I even took home leftovers for next days' lunch. Everyone at our table was very happy with the quality of the food. We did not have to wait around forever to get our check paid, and our server was just as nice to us as we left as he was when we arrived. The price for our food was what I'd expect from a family restaurant. It's a great place to visit. Can't say enough good things. I've yet to have something bad off the menu, and the staff have a really positive vibe about them. I think that speaks well about the ownership and management. This place is worth making a little bit of a drive for, and after writing this review, I can't wait to get back!

Went during a lunch break on a Friday. Food was amazing. Highly recommend the sweet potato fries and their wraps. Although the great food, the service was awful. It took around 30 minutes for the waitress to take our order, another 20 minutes to deliver the food, and they did not bring out one of my other coworker's meal for an additional 10 minutes after everyone else's. If you plan to go here for lunch, expect at least an hour and a half.

The buffalo chicken egg rolls intrigued me. And they were delicious. And they were just that- buffalo chicken egg rolls. They sound exactly as they taste, which, for some reason surprised me. In the future, I'll get something in addition to the egg rolls (but the egg rolls iwll definitely be part of my meal) because it's a whole lot of spice. My husband liked his burger and there was lots else that I'd like to try. The server was attentive, our food came out quickly and perfectly and there is SO MUCH ROOM in this place that probably 150 more people could've come in and we may not have noticed. Though I guess we'll never really know. We'll be back.

The Firehouse Grill is a new independently owned neighborhood restaurant that has now been open for about three months. I went there with a large group (40+), so I don't think it is fair to review the service at this time. I got the Blackened Chicken Cesar Salad, and enjoyed it very much. I liked the way they serve the salad with the chicken off to the side instead of on top of the greens. This keeps the chicken hot and the salad cold until I'm ready to introduce them to each other. We ordered the 4-alarm wings for the table. I like my wings extremely hot, so to me, they weren't that over the top hot (My table mates disagreed). They were very moist and wet with just enough sauce. The prize however, goes to the outdoor patio. Back in the day when it was the old Watson's Brewery, the patio was always hopping with live music and cocktails. I hope this tradition will stand. The venue and the concept they are trying to build deserves four stars in my book. I will definitely be returning, whether for one of their pizzas and beer out on the patio or to try their Sunday Brunch.

Firehouse Grill is located in an awesome location and building. You can't go wrong with this atmosphere and live music to boot! NICE! We had soft pretzels and dip, artichoke dip, fried pickles and wedge salad. All were delicious and I especially liked the dressing for the salad. It's always nice when it's made in house! Thank you and I'll be back!

This location seems to be a challenge for every restaurant that has come and gone. The building is enormous. The owners of the Firehouse Grill have made nice use of the space, we are looking forward to having a happy hour on the patio once the rain clears up. A couple of us from work ate there for lunch yesterday and were pretty pleased. The service was very good. Even though we were there right in the middle of the lunch rush, there was no wait for the seating, we were greeted promptly by our server, and received our food in short order. The food was good, but nothing to right home about. I got a crunch burger, or something like that. It had smoked gouda, which was a nice change. The burger patty itself was pretty dull, but was cooked to temp. It's tough to compete with Sammy's burgers right around the corner. Overall it was a good experience, and a great atmosphere. We'll definitely be back and will look forward to trying other menu items.

Nothing special. Only slightly nicer than a sports bar, in my opinion. The service was good, my food was decent. I'd probably go back if I had to. That's about all I can really say...it was that unmemorable. I was there for lunch...perhaps going for dinner would offer a wider range of food options. The lunch menu is your basic sandwich/wrap/salad situation. Meh. Would not make this a location for any special event sort of thing. If you need food, it'll do.

I went to Firehouse Grill with my wife on a Friday night recently. It was the Friday of St. Patrick's Day weekend so the place was hopping at around 9:30 when we arrived. This was our third visit to this establishment and the place has really grown on me. A band was playing when we arrived followed by a singer/guitar player that played some popular sing along drinking tunes (Sweet Caroline, etc), and he really kept the place having fun. We sat at a table off to the side of the bar area and our service was slightly above average considering how busy the place was. The bar features an extensive list of specialty drinks and concoctions that my wife really enjoys, she had some type of cosmo that she loved. I am always happy when an establishment has Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Beer and since this place has it, it was all good. As far as the food goes, everything we have ordered in the past and during this visit has been very good with the possible exception of the calamari (not enough seasoning). In the past we ordered the pizzas and shared them as they are individual sized. The West Cost, Margarita and Mashed Potato Pizzas are all excellent. This time we went with an appetizer of the hot pretzels, that were very good with the cheese sauce that was a bit spicy. I went with the fish sandwich with fries. The fish was nice and flaky with a crispy batter, however the fries were a bit blah and needed more salt. She had the Back Draft Burger, and that was really good. It was spicy with guacamole as a nice topper. She thought that since the burger was so large perhaps the meat could have been seasoned throughout, rather then just on the outside. She also got the sweet potato fries, a dollar extra, and these were awesome, way better than my regular fries. We ordered key lime pie for dessert and it was excellent, nice an tart! Overall we had a nice experience at this establishment as we had the previous occasions, and we will be sure to return there soon!

    Mashed potato pizza.... Terrific

Hmmm...its a bar not a grill and the food quality reflects that. Should be called a bar of tavern or simply Firehouse that would insinuate "don't come here to eat".

If the can sit outside, do! I recommend the mashed potato pizza. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is great casual.

It had pretty good food. It was a little pricey. It is really loud though.

I loved this place! We got takeout, so I can't really speak to the service, but the food was so delicious! I ordered the bruschetta, and I don't know what kind of sauce/dressing was on it, but I swear one of the ingredients was crack, it was that delicious. I also ordered the risotto cake and my mother got a burger. Both were just as delicious! Yum!

I work right down the street from here and make it to the Firehouse Grill for lunch 3-4 times a month. The food is pretty good as is the service. They have a great happy hour and provides a good atmosphere for watching a game or just realxing after work.

Had lunch here on a Saturday. It was an oddly warm day in October, so my husband and I wanted to sit outside somewhere for lunch, and knew that the Firehouse had a huge patio. They kindly let us sit outside, even though we were the only people out there! It was really nice. I asked to see a wine list, and was a little disappointed. The server handed me a piece of paper with the "wine list" on it, with some of the selections just scratched through when they became no longer available. It was pretty limited, only one chardonnay on the list, but we ordered glasses of wine to enjoy in the sun. The appetizer list sounded great, but because we had big dinner plans for that evening, I tried to be good at lunch! I really wanted the pretzel sticks with beer cheese or the chicken egg rolls, but we skipped apps. I ordered the Avocado Cobb salad with grilled chicken. The menu lists bacon, egg, tomato, scallions, and GUACAMOLE. I adore guacamole, so I ordered this salad. When it arrived, it was everything listed, with no guacamole...it was just some slices of avocado. The avocado was good, it was ripe, but avocado alone is not guacamole. At that point, I no longer had the menu in front of me to double-check that I was supposed to have guac, and started to second guess myself, so I didn't say anything to the server. I'm sure he would have brought me some if I had asked. Otherwise, my salad was fine. My husband got the backdraft burger, with jalapenos, chilis, monterey jack, bacon, and guacamole (he actually GOT guacamole, so I know they had it!). His burger was good, he was kind of like, "Meh... it's fine" not that it was bad by any means, but because he is a burger snob. But I tried it, and I thought the beef had a wonderful, smoky flavor. It seems anymore that lots of restaurants focus on fancy, different toppings and the burger itself is just more of a vehicle for the toppings and not so much the star, but this burger had great flavor. Served with good, housemade (I think) chips. Our server was great, particularly since he had to come wait on us outside when all of his other tables were inside. The food came out very quickly. I think we'll be back for lunch, or maybe to watch a game in the big bar area.

Saturday evening with the fam - not too crowded, so good attention from the staff. Good food - I like the firehouse burger. Fried pickles were good - pizzas were popular

The food and atmosphere at this place are great! I have yet to have a bad experience here and my coworkers and I do lunch here about once per week. Try the chicken apple brie wrap, it's delicious!

Great food with generous positions...but the best is the service from Lauren at the bar. Very nice, knowledgable, and a lot of fun. Will be back.

Nice place. HUGE! Lots of patio space. I had the Crunch burger sans chips. Cooked like I prefer, medium rare at my request (perfect by the way). Lunchtime party of 12, it took 28 minutes from order to first plate. Everyone was pleased with the lunch of burgers, pizza, wraps, wings and a salad. Staff was curteous and capable. No service issues whatsoever. Best of luck to the new owners. (Formerly Apsara, and Watson's and .....) If I could vote 3.5, I would. It is a little better than I would expect for the price, but nothing so special as to be a 4. Maybe if I try the pizza(and like it) it will allow me to upgrade.

The food here is only fair, but the service is terrible. As a result of the slow service, the food is often only lukewarm. On my most recent visit, I ordered my burger medium and what I was served was rare. My server was nowhere to be seen so I ended up eating it anyway to avoid making the rest of my party wait. We ordered Creme Brulee for dessert and it had not been caramelized on top. I won't be going back any time soon.

First time in since it was Watson Bros. and loved it! We sat on the patio near the music (Holly Spears was fantastic!) and the atmosphere was great. The menu isn't overwhelming and was full of favorites and classics...the cowboy burger definitely had the kick I enjoy :)

After several good experiences, tonight was awful. Mediocre, inexperienced server and poor food. Feels like they've eliminated the more creative menu items. Probably won't return.

I had the pleasure of dining at the Firehouse Grill for a late afternoon lunch with my family. The greeting from the host was warm and friendly ( and not to mention, I was suprised that there was another host there to open the doors for me). I loved that the restaurant was very open and that it was also super clean. The menu has great variety for all tastes and I can't wait to go back for dinner ( the mile high meatloaf sounds outstanding). The vegetable soup is the BEST I have ever had. The service from Kelly was prompt, friendly, and attentive. Overall, a great place for families (my son had the mac n cheese with fries, and loved it), and will definitely return very soon.

a huge place that is very, very nice, but it totally lacks character. greeted by a hostess station with the bar directly forward. the bar itself is a huge rectangle with seating on all sides. the bar top is stone and it lacks a footrest (a huge mistake). there are super-sized booths on the south wall and southwest corner. past the bar are seemingly endless high tables. finally, in the corner opposite the entrance is a stone-floored low table eating area. the south wall and ceiling are gorgeous, but firehouse is just missing something. maybe it's the size, high ceilings, stone bar, or something else, but the place is not "welcoming". food is average-to-above average bar food. though they have 8-10 fancy beers on tap, there is a very limited hard alcohol selection.

I work near the Firehouse Grill, and I was excited to try it for lunch. It seems that the other restaurant concepts that have occupied that building didn't last too long. My first obervation was that the service was personable and attentive, but it took a long time to get our food. Once it arrived, everything tasted fine. Good, but not "Oh my gosh. That's terrific!" They did do a good job catering to my 3 young kids, but those of you who are parents of young kids know that a long wait for food leads to misbehaved kids at a restaurant.

A friend and I hung out at the bar last night, enjoying a few appetizers and good conversation. The bar was crowded (Reds opening day), but not so that we couldn't hear each other. My only complaint is the difficulty in getting refills for our sodas. Although the bartenders were busy, we should not have had to search someone out and ask for refills each time we needed one. My friend had dinner there the night before, and he said both the food and service were good, so I will return soon to try out some of the entrees.

I was part of a large group (25) that met for drinks & then had dinner. The staff was VERY accommodating and the waiters were excellent. We don't know how they kept it all straight (we had separate checks). Our food was very good, and we will go back. The place was busy on this Wed. night.

  • Nate N.

The service was great but the food was a huge disappointment. The burger was wayyyy over cooked (I asked for medium and it came out well) and the fries came out cold. When I asked if I could have some hot fries, they didn't come out for another 15 minutes or so and I was almost done with my burger. On the bright side, the beer selection was outstanding and they let you taste test a few before you decide! Overall, good atmosphere but don't expect much from the food.

The drinks here are really good! the best thing on the menu is the sweet potatoe fries and the buffalo chicken rolls! yummy!! the drinks are very pricey though! they have a great outdoor patio with a great view. Very busy during lunch and after work for happy hour - lots of business/work people!

Stopped by tonight to try to new items on the menu. The fried calamari was very good. My husband was happy to see that it included tentacles and the rings were small and tender. The calamari was lightly breaded and we thoroughly enjoyed it! I had the beet and arugula salad which was also very good. I was pleased to see there were plenty of red and yellow beets and the dressing complemented the arugula beautifully. It will be one of my favorites at this restaurant

Firehouse Grill has one of the best (if not the best) patios in the area. It's even somewhat family-friendly with the retired fire truck to explore. There's plenty of seating including long tables for large groups, tables with umbrellas and waterside seating. Even though it's located at the intersection of two busy roads, noise is minimal. Another great feature is the extensive draft beer selection featuring many local offerings. In fact, on the menu listed next to Bud Light it reads, "try a Madtree LIFT." Food is your average, standard grouping of sandwiches, heavy apps and pizzas. I'm not a fan of this type of menu but I suppose they're trying to appeal to the masses.

  • Mary P.

Firehouse Grill is definitely the go-to place for my team for happy hours. Many other businesses in the area seem to think so as well since it's always crowded. Every time I go in there I see someone from GE at a happy hour. I would agree that the bar food is pretty decent, I'm a fan of pretzels, nachos and flat breads. Definitely not cheap by any means. On the few times I've come for lunch the salads and burgers are good too. It's not gourmet but it's better than bdubs in my opinion. The beer list is impressive and changes seasonally so there's always something new to try. The private rooms are great for parties and larger events... But the best is the large patio outside during warmer months. I wouldn't drive up here from downtown on a weekend, but for an after work spot it's probably the best in the area.

Was looking for a decent happy hour, well this is right near work so I decided to try it after reading the website. Anyway service was good, but lack of a decent happy hour menu. Only 2 food items included? What is with that? Great beer selection but a little higher priced for the type of venue. The chili was ok, if you like spicy make sure to add the jalapeños because it is not at all. The Thai wings were kind of bland, not crunchy and overly sweet. (What can I say, I am kind of a wing snob). Having been in the industry for over 20 years and traveled all of the country, the value to what you get is not the greatest. They need to lower the price a bit, and offer a better happy hour menu especially for food.

  • Arick S.

Atmosphere? Great. Staff? Great. Variety of menu options? You bet. Overall quality of food? Not as good. This is a great location right off the highway and they serve all kinds of local craft beers so it has that going for it. But every time I visit the food is a letdown. Some of it is typical pub food, but thrown in with the price, it is not as good. This is a great choice since I work near here, but they are trying too hard to be fancier than they really are. BONUS: Try the sweet potato fries. Those are always a solid pick.

Found this place tonight and I'm happy I did. The food was pretty good, although I wish they used real bacon in the tortellini or just leave it out completely, it wasn't really necessary. But all in all a good experience. Some of the servers tended to gather around the POS at the bar, where I was sitting, and just whine and moan or goof off, which I could've done without. But the good conversation with (who I believed was) the owner made up for that. Decent prices for portion sizes, I would recommend to anyone who stays close to blue ash.

Don't know why they only have 3 stars. Appetizers are really good although we had dinner salads the atmosphere was really good on back patio with live music. BTW, try the pear cider. Excellent

  • Amber J.

This is a good space and location. There are several businesses in the area and this has a lot of space. It can be a bit loud to have a business meeting, unless you are in one of the side rooms that keep out sound a bit better. Because they have side rooms, I have been to many group happy hours and parties. I know when I call to schedule a group event they almost always can accommodate the large group size. The staff is really great too! I've never ever had a bad experience with their staff...even when my group has gotten a bit rowdy. I had to give it three stars because of the food. I've eaten there several times and not once liked the food enough to want to go back to eat :( I wish their food could meet the other great qualities they provide. Then they would knock this out of the park with five stars.

Sat at the bar only and had no food but wow, great selection of draft beer with dozens of local brews. Decent prices for craft beer on tap also. Would go here again when I could spend more time trying more.

Over priced. Over hyped. We got, between us, 1 app, 2 entrees and 2 desserts. Only ONE good dish among the group. Don't waste your money!

I attended a friends engagement party at Firehouse Grill. They have an incredible selection of local - MadTree, Rhinegeist, Christian Moerlein, Moerlein and regional - Great Lakes, Warped Wing, Three Floyds craft beers on tap. Our group was in private room right off from the main bar, we had good service. I arrived a bit late, so didn't have a chance to enjoy the appetizers they had for the party. Alex, server was friendly taking drink orders bringing them to the room promptly keeping everyone happy.

We were there on a Saturday night and the place was packed. Service was slower than I'd have liked, but our server seemed to be attentive and got everything out to our big group with no mistakes or forgotten items. Maybe they were understaffed? The food was about what you'd expect as far as price/quality/portion. We got the mushroom pizza and some chicken wings. They arrived hot and were fairly tasty. The best part was the beer selection. I didn't like either of my beers, but that's my own fault for picking some of the oddball selections on the menu. If I went back, I'd go just for drinks and not on a Saturday night.

We've been to Firehouse Grill a lot, and are big fans. The nicest thing about Firehouse is you can go with friends and have a few beers, or go with the kids. Either is a good option. Their outdoor seating is great and in warmer months they'll have a band on the weekends in the evening. We were there watching the NCAA tournament a few weeks ago, and despite how busy it was our waitress was awesome and there are plenty of TVs to make sure we didn't miss any of the games. Now for the food. Where do I begin? The beer cheese nachos are the best. Seriously. When I am craving chicken nachos this is where I go. I've had a variety of their appetizers and a burger, but it's hard for me to get anything else other than the nachos. My husband has tried several of the entrees and is always pleased. My daughter loves their cheese pizza. The only thing I have gotten that was odd was a PB&J for my youngest daughter. That wasn't so good. Every thing else is a home run.

Stopped in here after a round of 18 on a Saturday afternoon. We decided to eat outside on the patio as it was a great summer afternoon. The patio at this place is great. It overlooks a nice water area, has plenty of tables, and area for watching the flat screen TV. It's a well thought out space. The inside is nicely laid out too, plenty of room at the bar and lots of tables and booths throughout the restaurant. Our service was very good. We each decided to try some local craft beer. This place has a great selection! We shared an appetizer, the buffalo chicken rolls which were really good! These won 'Best Appetizer" at Taste of Blue Ash for a reason. I decided to have the West Coast gourmet pizza, which is a fairly large flat bread type pizza. I enjoyed it and would order it again. On your way out if you find a beer you really like, you can fill up a growler and take it home. They have an entire area dedicated to beer near the entrance. Good operation going on here!

I came here with 7 family members on a saturday night. We were seated immediately which was unexpected but welcomed. The sheer size of this place is surprising. We started with some wings and breadsticks with beer cheese as appetizers. The wings were decent sized and very tasty. The pretzel breadsticks with beer cheese were what you would expect, as they have become cuisine de rigueur for any Cincy brewpub. I will review only what I tasted as I did not get to try all of our dishes. My order was the meatloaf sandwich. This is one of their signature items and it did not disappoint. I added lettuce, tomato, pickle and some tobasco to a very moist, thick slice of meatloaf, topped with swiss cheese. Along with some seasoned fries, this sandwich is on the money. My wife ordered the portabello panini, and I had to score a couple of bites. This was an excellent use of the mushrooms as a protein substitute. I am a meat eater, but I could eat this again without a complaint. All in all, it was a great evening for the entire family. They have an excellent selection of local brews on tap and plenty of craft from around the country. They were very busy, but our waiter was attentive and the support staff were equally up to the task. This is a solid restaurant option to watch the game or have a group get-together.

Nice and clean Great tap selection for sure Had soup and salad for dinner . Chicken tortilla soup was very good. Not great. Needs to be a thinner base to he awesome. Wedge salad is a 1/8 th of a small head. Asked for a balsamic on it and got no blue cheese. Was told only came on it if I order blue cheese dressing. Not surer about this joint - will give it one more try next time. Don't sit at the bar as the service is bad. I feel like a third grader raising my hand. Gave 20 points but feel it was worth 10 points / maybe 5 points

Decided to go out with the new camaderie from work. This was one of the closest bars around. On first imperession it looked busy with a full parking lot. There was some leakage from the roof as I entered. Inside was pleasant, wait staff was pleasant. Tried the sirloin, it was great, on point, juicy, vegetables and potatoes were very flavorful. The drinks and food were moderately priced. The place was full and well liked after. Friends tried the spinach and asparagus and enjoyed it. Recommended for after work hours drinks. Only rated 4 starts because happy hours drinks are very very limited and there's no really great items for happy hours food.

Huge place - was completely packed on a Wednesday around 630. This review might be slightly "judgey" in part of having recently left the restaurant biz and being picky about where I go out - so you had your warning in case I come off sounding snotty. Lots of TVs and a huge projection screen - I would think they got a crowd for big games on Sundays. Very clean and looked to be well organized. I had read some reviews before we tried this place out and had read a few comments about rude or just not the friendliest staff - and they were right. I almost felt like the hostess and who I assume to be the manager were annoyed with me when I asked for crayons. Slightly weird. The staff didn't seem panicked or rushed - some of them just seemed cold. Other than the weird encounter the food was good - the potato cake appetizer was my favorite thing we ordered. I never had to wait for a drink when I sat down - our server (who was also the bartender) did a great job. I never felt rushed when he was at our table - only misstep was that he didn't bring appetizer plates - other than that I would be happy to sit in his section again. Also - not our server's fault - but while we were waiting for a table we ordered a round at the bar - I had ordered a coffee w/ Baileys and it was lukewarm - not impressed with that. If you are looking for a happy hour joint in the Blue Ash area this one isn't bad. Lots of beers on tap and a good selection of apps. I won't be rushing back but if someone asked me to meet them for a drink there I don't think I would say no.

This was a very nice, clean, and well run restaurant with a pretty nice menu. Our server was nice, friendly to kids, and knew the menu very well. She guide me to a good beer choice as well. The place looks brand new and has a very cool wood and steel ceiling. There were wood arches as part of the support structure and it looked pretty cool. I ended up getting the Flame Thrower burger which was properly cooked and very flavorful. The bacon on it had jalapeño peppers crusted on it (awesome) but overall the burger's heat was more for flavor then pain (a good thing). Someone at my table got a meatloaf melt (I think it was called) which I got to try. Very well prepared. Their beer selection is full of local and unusual selections and some can be purchased as you leave if you find something that you cannot get from your home town. I can easily recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun and interesting menu and an overall good meal. I hope they expand into my area.

From my experience so far I like this place. I ordered the Mile High Meatloaf and it delivered. I ate at 9:30pm, and the portion kept me full until lunch the next day! Maybe a little bit more garlic in the mash potatoes and I would've been completely sold on this dish. I really like the awesome beer selection here, and they sell random bottled beer and growlers to take home. There's also lots of screens to watch the games. I sat at the bar and the service was excellent. Definitely will be going back to try the other dishes.

I was in town for some meetings, and staying at the local Marriott Courtyard. The bistros in those are nice, but I eat in them entirely too often. The gal at the front desk mapped out three places for me, and I chose this one because, well, I dunno. Their beer selection is pretty good. I typically don't like super fruity beers, but I've gotten to like Angry Orchard, which they have on tap. They also have some good local brews. For dinner I got the salmon roulade, which came rounded, stuffed, and sitting on a rice cake. The whole thing had been baked, and surrounded by asparagus and citrus butter. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST THINGS I'VE EVER EATEN ON THE ROAD. No kidding. I've been traveling for business for literally decades, and this was that good. Had the lava cake for dessert, and seriously, if you order this, bring a friend. Huge and wonderful. The service was not bad. Of course, I sat at the bar, as I am wont to do, and get easier attention as a result. Yeah, only one night and one meal, but they were memorable.

Had lunch with my coworkers Monday, Dec 1st. My first impression of the restaurant was good. Staff was friendly. We had a table reserved & orders for drinks and food were taken promptly. I felt the need to write this review because my food was just incredibly bad. I ordered the salmon entree. The menu indicated that it was a *specialty*. I requested my salmon cooked medium. Server said it was no problem. Oh my goodness :/ Most over-cooked, dry & tasteless piece of fish I've ever been served. It reminded me of solid tuna straight from the can...that had been microwaved! I couldn't eat it. I picked at the rice & asparagus. Sorry Firehouse Grill, but salmon is NOT your thing.

Came to town with my college room mate and chose to eat here for dinner on Valentine's Day. The place wasn't packed but it was fabulous! The food was great and the drinks were as well! I highly recommend the June bug drink and the buffalo chicken egg rolls!

Good place to watch a game and have a few beers. The service, at times, can be terrible. I blame the management. The servers that take pride in their job will treat you great and the food is fine for the type of place it is. The servers that seem to have no clue (about 60%) will ignore you, mess up your order, charge you for the wrong things, and just act fairly rude. Nobody seems to be in charge.

Firehouse Grill has really good food and an extensive draft beer list, featuring lots of local beers and then many that are "near local". I recommend the portobello sandwich and any of the pizzas, but the menu has a great range of choices. The service can sometimes be a little suspect, but the servers seem friendly and effective so I'm not sure it's their fault-maybe more a management issue?? Firehouse also has a great patio and has live music there sometimes-a great touch!

I preface this review with the fact that traditional American fare doesn't tend to do very well with me. Not that it isn't tasty, but it's mostly unoriginal and I find I often think I can do better at home (those who eat my cooking may vehemently disagree.) This place has been recommended to me several times, mostly by my only Chicken-eating Indian colleagues. Not harping on their taste at all, I take it as a limited palate thing maybe? (Is that presumptuous?) This trip I was joining a bunch of fellow consultants for a group lunch. These are always events where the food is chosen by average, which is understandable. I ordered a Coke and a Backdraft Burger ($11) with steak fries instead of chips (why do I hate chips so much?). The steak fries were good. Average for what was expected, but tasty. A little seasoning might help, or some habenero aioli maybe? The shared appetizers were pretty standard fare as well. Pretzel sticks (always greasy everywhere) and a Bruschetta (tomato) and some stuffed potatoes. The burger was the treat. The Jalepeno peppers and guac' on a slightly too medium grilled burger was very good. They honored my request to try and make the burger dry, draining a bunch of the extra grease from the meat. Pretty tasty overall, but not the best burger I've had. I can see myself going back with other coworkers at some point where I'll try a different burger (The Flamethrower) and perhaps a salad, which everyone said was good. But I don't think I'd be the one making the suggestion.

This place is fun, fine and full of good beer choices. It won't disappoint nor knock your socks off. The atmosphere justifies all that occurs here. The main benefit is the location in the center of all that is Blue Ash along with the fact that this is not a chain.

Stopped in for an early dinner with my girlfriend, was pleasantly surprised. Food was absolutely delicious. Only gets a 4/5 because it makes for a great night out, but only if you have some spending money. Two drinks and an app ended up adding $25 to my bill

We ate dinner here on Sunday and the service was horrible. The. Manager ended up taking our drink order and then took our food order when our Server was a no show. Our Server came to our table once to drop off the ketchup and get one refill. Food was so-so when it finally arrived from the kitchen (that took over 30 minutes). We saw our Server several times at the bar chatting with other employees, but he never stopped to see if our order was right or if we needed anything. Had to flag the Manager down to get our check. We won't be back.

Stopped in for lunch with my girlfriend at the Firehouse Grill for lunch, ordered the Cowboy burger with the sweet potato fries, both were very tasty, the decor is standard sports bar, but I love sports, so it worked for me, I would stop back in for lunch again when I am in the area

I came here for the game against TSUN. Before coming I confirmed online that this bar was an Ohio State alumni bar that plays the game on all screens with live audio. That was the key reason for me coming here. (This is also an Alabama bar) So we showed up around game time and the place was pretty much packed. We were able to get a few seats at the bar that were left. There was a booth available but the way they are constructed they are more appropriate for parties of 4-6 roughly. It looked like the official alumni group members were seated towards the back of the bar in their own group section. Everyone else in the bar was an Ohio State fan and were intently watching the game. Like I said we were sitting at the bar and everyone was an Ohio State fan. There happened to be two seats to my left that were unoccupied well into the first quarter. A lady who wasn't dressed in any game day garb approached me and asked if the seats were taken. I said, "no", that was a mistake. Of course of all the people in the bar the woman that showed up to meet her was from that place up north. The women sat next to me and stared in my direction the whole game. I was not interested in interacting with the enemy but she would not get the hint. We had a few beers and a couple margarita pizzas. Our bill was pretty cheap and the bar service was so so. There was only one bartender so she had to run around the whole bar to get back and forth to people. As the game came to an end Alabama fans began to roll in and get ready for their 3:30 game against Auburn. I had no problem with this except when they began to cheer for the other school. I felt that there was no need for that as they had no benefit one way or the other of the result of the game. Regardless, we won and I was an Auburn fan for the rest of the day. We all know the result of that game.

Yum. This place is really good. I have the enginehouse steak. The steak was cooked perfectly and the mashed potatoes were AMAZING. However ... the highlight of the meal was our waiter, Phil. Phil is one of the best waiters that I have ever had. He's super friendly and really cares about his customers. We came here twice over the weekend. One time Phil was managing, and his personality serves him well in that position. He's awesome, and made sure that our group had a good, and memorable, time! If we are back in the area, we're certainly come back here ... for the food, but also to see Phil!

Firehouse Grill is huge, so I would assume it's typically a safe bet for larger groups or during typically busy dining times. A very large, square-shaped bar fills most of the first room, with high top tables and some booths around the perimeter. There is at least one room that can be closed off for private parties. Food is decent pub fare, but nothing too memorable. Firehouse does make a real effort when it comes to beer, with quite a few taps including a rotating selection of local breweries.

I thought that I would try a new restaurant because i saw this in passing. I decided to get the pick 2 of the blackfire chicken wrap which contained jalapeno cheddar tortilla, cajun chicken, caramelized onion, chipotle mayonnaise, monterey jack, shredded iceberg lettuce, diced tomato and the mac n cheese. Seeing that I am a cheese connoisseur, I wasnt impressed with this dish. It seemed cheesy but did not taste like it. It had baked bread crumbs on top but no flavor, overall it was bland. I was kinda excited about the wrap but unfortunately, it was cold and the chicken 's seasoning was very salty. So it overpowered everything else. I usually try to give a place another try to see if its better the next time. So next time I will try something different, wish me luck!!!

This place is sort of too sleek for its own good. It really looks like a chain, with the big glossy menus, the food items to choose from, and the demeanor of the staff. But it's not! Which is its blessing and its curse I guess. If you are going to be a "local" business, why come off feeling super corporate? The place is huge -- the former Watson Brothers -- and it is never a problem to get seated, even during the lunch rush. And in the temperate months, they have a decent amount of relatively pleasant outside seating. The food is fine (pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, salads, etc.) but again, you feel as though you are dining at a chain. I typically stick to the sandwich/soup/salad combos, but the pizzas do look tasty and more than enough for one person. They do also have a decent selection of local beers and wines/cocktails. As for the prices, you can find better around the Blue Ash area, both for food and for drinks. Still, I always find myself back here at least once a trip, because it's an easy destination for a business lunch or happy hour.

The food is always good and served quickly. Live the Thai chicken pizza! Awesome local craft beer selection on tap, and they'll sell you a growler to take some home with you! Many TVs with whatever sports are on at the time. Large tables and plenty of room for large groups or booths for a more intimate experience. Friendly staff! This is a local "go to"

After a hard day's traveling through airports, a coworker and I went to the Firehouse Grill because it was recommended to us by someone familiar with the area. I have to say, it was fairly disappointing. I ordered the meatloaf, which our waiter informed me was a "house specialty". My coworker ordered a NY strip, which came with asparagus and mashed potatoes. When my meatloaf arrived, it was served on buttered toast, covered in the garlic mashed potatoes and marinara sauce (!). This presentation was unappetizing to look at, but it tasted OK. Not exceptional, mind you... but OK. When my coworker's steak arrived, it was cold. I don't mean tepid, lukewarm, been-sitting-up-for-a-while, I mean COLD. The mashed potatoes and asparagus were likewise room temperature at best. When she sent it back to be warmed, the waiter took it to the kitchen, returned five minutes later with the plate still cold. We asked to speak to the manager, who gave us the "deer in the headlights" look and kept asking "What should I do?" Uh, call me crazy, but actually warming the food on the plate might be a good start, buddy! After he left to attend to this, the food finally arrived warm(ish), but by that point we were both disgusted. This is a kitchen faux-pas, not the server's fault, but both the server and the manager made it clear by their expressions and lack of performance that they weren't surprised and didn't care. While the quality of the food was acceptable enough to rate the extra star, I would give this place a miss.

Was okay. I loved the appetiser, spud buds, but my entree (chicken & pork penne) was fine. The pork was overcooked, but the chicken was fine. It also needed more seasoning. However, my boyfriend had the NYFD steak, and he loved it! But the atmosphere was nice! Plenty of beers on tap. I would rather come for a drink and apps than dinner.

Bad service. I was there with a large group of 20 or so. We had 1 server who couldn't keep up. We made a reservation, so it was not a surprise we were coming. The group had to wait so long for drinks, some ended up going to get their own at the bar. I asked a manager to help him....but nothing happened. It's a great location, and food was ok, but the poor service trumped the experience. It's unfortunate.

I joined a few old friends from my men's league hockey team at the Firehouse Grill for dinner and drinks after a recent game. You may remember the building as the former home of the Watson Bros. Brewery. The building itself is a massive structure just off Glendale Milford Road. It is pretty hard to miss, especially with the full size fire engine parked out front. We originally planned to eat on the spacious outdoor patio, but after finding that the restaurant was pretty quiet (7:30 P.M. on a Sunday) we decided to grab some seats at the bar. Here I was pleasantly surprised by the draft beer selection. Stone Enjoy By IPA and the newly opened MadTree Brewing's Gnarly Brown were just a couple of the more than two dozen offerings. For dinner I ordered the Fire House Wrap with jalapeño cheddar tortilla, Cajun chicken, caramelized onion, chipotle mayonnaise, Monterey Jack, shredded iceberg lettuce, and diced tomato ($8.99). I added sweet potato $1 more. The wrap was packed full of deliciousness and the sweet potato fries were equally as tasty. The Firehouse Grill easily exceeded my expectations. I wouldn't go too far out of my way for the food itself, but combined with their great selection of beers, this is a very solid option for the northeast suburbs.

Came here last Wednesday for dinner with my dad, we wanted to try some place new and since the weather was nice 82F I was also looking for a patio to enjoy a cold beer. The parking lot was full of high end cars like Porsche's, BMW's, Audi's etc... We were greeted by the hostess and asked if we would rather sit inside or outside so we chose outside and met the outdoor hostess out there. We had a great table right by the lake and Phil our server came over soon and took our drink order and suggested an app, we chose the pretzel sticks and they were hot, soft and perfect the only thing with the beer cheese it could of had a better flavor and it was luke warm. We both ordered the steak sandwich and it was good served with Swiss and caramelized onions and choice of sides. I opted for the fries and they were OK, kind of limp. As we both mentioned we would come back here on a springtime/summer night to enjoy a beer and app and maybe a burger on the patio.

As can be seen by my previous reviews i don't flame restaurants, but FG deserves a review if nothing else, as a cautionary tale. I eat out over 200 nights a year, so i know good and bad service. Tonight was over the top bad. In the 60 minutes that i sat at the bar, i ordered a grilled chicken salad, two beers and a water. Im guessing i was engaged with the bar maid maybe 4 times proactively. The other 4 chance encounters were with her bar back, or to remind her of what she has failed to bring me. A good beer selection cannot make up for bad service.

Nice place good food and great beer selection. Also a great place to watch a OSU game as the alumni club meets here during every game. They will have the game on and put the volume on for the buckeyes. This is good to know if you live in cincy and are a Buckeye fan. They also have a Alabama fan club and I think a Georgia fan club. Go there and GO BUCKS!!!

We have been here a number of times since it opened... food was ok, good beer selection. Was there last weekend and found a bone that was over an inch in size in my backfire chicken wrap... broke my tooth! Beware, you may end up spending more than the food cost ...

Ok this is tough. Goal is to eat only local and no corporate spots on our road trip east to west. Nothing in Enon excerpt fast food. We even asking a police officer. The atmosphere here us great and so was the service. BBQ was average like some of the other reviews, but we would say go for it. Nice beer but BBQ not going to win any cook off. It's local though and not corporate fast food so all in all 3.5 stars rounded up to 4.0

I have been to Firehouse Grill more than ten times. Firehouse Grill is a good neighborhood restaurant with a great setting in Blue Ash. There is a cool outdoor patio on the pond, with live music on the weekends. Inside, they can accommodate everything from individuals (bar) and tables for two to large parties. Not a sports bar, but there are plenty of flat screens with sports on all channels. In terms of food, I would recommend sticking with the appetizers, pizzas (BBQ chicken) burgers, and salads ... pub food. The pizzas are large enough to share (two normal size adults), the pretzels are terrific, and the spinach-artichoke dip is very good (although should come with 2-4 more pita bread wedges than offered ... they are usually pretty good about bringing extra when asked). They also have a great beer selection and, with very few exceptions, an very attentive, knowledgable service staff. On the downside, whenever I venture into the other "entrees," I am disappointed, underwhelmed with the food and overwhelmed by the price. We have also booked a small group there, with a pre-purchased "meal," and the food was mediocre and not nearly enough. I would recommend trying this place, but in some ways, I think it is still "finding its identity" free of its Watson's Brother roots. My recommendation to the owner would be to embrace the Pub side, keep pricing reasonable for a "weekly" visit, and do not trying to be "all things to all people."

The place is near my hotel when I travel to Cincinnati so we often dine here. It's OK. The food is standard pub food. The pretzel app was tasty and weirdly, their veggie burger was pretty good. The restaurant is huge - I mean, gigantic - uncomfortably large, with wide open seating. I know its a bar and its about the bar, but all I remember is walking through the tables for an hour before getting to the patio. Whatever, it's not going to be the best meal you have ever eaten but its certainly not the worst. Enjoy.

The service and atmosphere were outstanding, Aimee was professional, and helpful, and even the rain couldn't spoil the outdoor seating. The food though, was sub par: from the lack of variety on the menu, to the poor execution of a simple steak that was not even close to properly trimmed of fat. If you are staying at the Courtyard, it is barely worth the walk. Honestly, go for drinks, but eat elsewhere until they get their act together. Appleby's has better food, and is just as close.

Lunch Jan 17 Firehouse Grill has become my go to lunch place in Blue Ash as I am eating their at one trip every trip to Blue Ash. For lunch you can't go wrong, whether your on business or leaving the job site. Lots of seating for large or small parties, plus a large bar if you want to eat alone. You can take your time or get in and out quick. Great lunch menu: featuring a Pick Two Combo where you get to pick 2 choices from a selection of salads, soups and half sandwiches. Oh yeah, and it's only $7.99. Favorite Wrap is the Blackfire Wrap. Favorite Salad is the Firelight Salad w/Chicken. Favorite Sandwich is the Chicken Salad Croissant. All 3 above are unique & exclusive to Firehouse and are very good. They have many other house specialties that help make this a very different place to eat.

We stopped in here after attending a nearby event. We just wanted some appetizers and beers. I'm so thankful for Yelp because I couldn't remember the name Watson Bros - thank you previous reviewer! Our table got the pretzel sticks, fried pickles, buffalo chicken rolls and chili and beers. I didn't pay attention to the beer list too much because I was looking forward to a Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale! I sampled all the food, but the chili and was happy with it, but LOVED the cheese that came with the pretzels sticks. It was a runny cheese, not the kind that solidifies a few minutes after sitting at your table and cools off. I didn't pay attention to the menu, but if there was something burger night I'd probably come back for that otherwise I'd probably only be back if I was in the area. Looking at that one photo, it appears they weren't too crowded on St. Patrick's day but it is a big space, too, so that's nice to keep in mind.

Im giving this place 5 stars because its everything I want in a casual pub environment. I've been here a few times and usually get a burger which I must say is very good (not a frozen sysco burger) beer selection is good and the staff are friendly. prices are more than fair.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. Ate here with a coworker while on the road and being a gluten-free diner on the road is a hard thing. They have a gluten free menu and it isn't that bad! I ordered the tilapia with coconut basil rice and green beans and it was VERY good. I did end up cheating because I had a sweet tooth and they don't have a GF dessert option, so ordered the chocolate raspberry cake. There isn't much raspberry going on here, but the cake was tasty. Nice servers and a good environment. I think going here for beer and light apps would be nice since it seems they have a lot of options and also good tvs. It was half price wine bottle night (tuesday) when I went, so that made it an even better experience! Should try if in the area.

Entering the restaurant, I was extremely underwhelmed with the decor. The place is pretty big and open, so the sparcely-placed elements and drab colors don't really help the overall ambiance of what could be a really great space. Conversely, I suppose you can still consider this place to be pretty new, and I think the potential for accessorizing and decorating a firehouse-themed restaurant is pretty great. I do have to point out that the service was great. As part of a group for a birthday dinner, we were in a side room with about 15 guests (many whom I will admit are difficult to work with). I was impressed with the poise in which the server handled himself. He was polite, helpful and, most importantly, patient. Somehow, some way I resisted the urge to try the cheeseburger. I had heard good things about the pizza, so I opted for a cheese pizza (add feta on half). The crust was unnecessarily thick, there wasn't much cheese, and a ton of feta. Overall, the pizza was just OK. The focal point, I'd say is the large, square bar that views multiple HDTVs. I'd highly suggest heading here for happy hour or to watch a game at the bar with friends, drinks and appetizers. Otherwise, the place is just average.

I'm pretty disappointed with my experience at Firehouse. I needed a bite to eat for dinner on a recent business trip. This place came recommended by the hotel I stayed at. The service and beer selections were both very good. However, I ended up getting sick after my meal which was a real downer. Another thing that peeved me was that my meal was brought out to a guy sitting down the bar from me. When they realize the mistake a few minutes later, they just moved the plate over in front of me since the guy had not yet eaten it. Typically, I would expect an option to have a new order brought to me instead of the one already made. I was dying of hunger so I just went for it but continued to question how heavily the guy may have breathed over my food. With so many OTHER food options in the area, I would expect there to be some extra effort put into their operations.

Okay, so the atmosphere of this place leaves a lot to be desired. It is big and open and loud. I didn't really want to like it the first couple times I visited, but it's my "work-neighborhood" bar, so I gave it another chance. Then just kept going back. The service is good. The staff is attentive and doesn't scoff at special requests. But the food is what sets it apart from other local sports bars. I haven't had a bad thing there yet. I highly recommend their West Coast Pizza. Their burgers will compete with some of the more popular joints as well. My company did a happy hour here. We weren't a huge crowd, but there were enough of us to keep the bartender busy. And he did an excellent job. This place is perfect for large groups, with plenty of tables that can be fit together in various ways. They also do kid's birthday parties, and certainly have the room for it. So, if you ever get up to Blue Ash, check it out. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Firehouse Grill accomplishes a subtle yet astonishing feat - it pleases both the adult only diners, looking for a nice micro brew, a good cocktail, and a not-so-chuck-e-cheese atmosphere, as well as the kids, who like the TVs and the kids menus with crayons. With one exception, all of our food was quite good. The fish tacos were prepared just right, with fresh tasting Tilapia and all fresh ingredients, The chipolte slaw served on the side was tasty and quite spicy. Good for them, everyone should know and respect that a chipotle is a smoke jalapeno pepper, not a mild cilantro/ rice burrito. My fellow diners loved the meat loaf, as well as the firehouse chicken salad. Service was awesome. We didn't care for our appetizer, see below, so they took it off, no manager visit necessary. The guy filling our waters asked if I need another beer. More restaurants should encourage such cross - duties when it serves customer service. I really felt like my needs came first, awesome job. The place is very loud and the last word I would pick is intimate, so don't come if you don't care for a noisy atmosphere. Also, if you like coconut shrimp like you get nearly anywhere else, you will Hate their coconut shrimp appetizer. You can't see or taste the coconut, they're not butterflied, and the sauce, which they call mango, tastes much, much more of curry than mango. It tasted like cheap Indian fast food. They should really take it off the menu, it's that poor. But again, they took it off our bill, no questions asked, t, so I don't ding them at all for that. The Firehouse Grill is a more than solid 4 stars.

This is my first time here. I can't tell if the food is good because our waitress Danielle was so rude I couldn't eat it. I talked to the manager, he tried to smooth it over but she has been here too long and he cant do anything about it. Hope the owners can fix this problem. Don't have Danielle service you.

This was my second visit to Firehouse Grill. I had gone a few years ago and remember being underwhelmed, but I thought I would give it a second chance. I should have gone with my instinct and driven right past this dump. We asked to sit on the patio (the real reason we wanted to go there in the first place, as it was a beautiful evening). We were told it would be a 15 -20 minute wait, so we decided to sit inside. We were sat by the window and noticed there were multiple empty tables on the patio, so I'm not sure why weren't seated there. I assume it's because the restaurant is understaffed. But again, not sure seeing as there were tables empty right next to other tables our waiter was taking care of. Moving on, the food took forever to get out!!! We waited over 30 minutes. Granted we all got soups, salads, sandwiches, nothing to merit such a long wait. When our waiter finally brought the food, my spinach salad had completely old and wilted lettuce. The other food we got was average at best. The waiter never once came back to ask us how our food was, never refilled our drinks, and then never apologized for the long wait/lack of attention. Went to the bathrooms and they were filthy, and the toilet did not work. Final nail in the coffin is that we said thank you and goodbye to the waiter and he never responded. He was incredibly rude. I know he was very busy and stressed, but come on, you're in the service industry. At least smile and say thanks for coming in. Ok my rant is over. Please save yourself the time and headache. This place is awful.

I really enjoyed this when I met up with a friend for a quick weekday lunch when I was working in the area. I can't remember the exact name of the dish I had, it was some sort of spicy cajun pasta. I was debating that and another dish, and the server was so emphatic about the pasta, that I couldn't help but say yes to it. She was right, it was REALLY good- in fact, I ate almost the entire portion, which was kind of gigantic. I couldn't get a drink, because I had to head back to work after, so I have no comment on the bar or their service, but our server was pretty good. The atmosphere was just so-so, completely decorated in (you guessed it) a firehouse theme. We sat at a high-top table close to the bar area, which was a little awkward in a dress, since I'm not that tall- but it didn't really take away from my enjoyment of the place. Their menu is fairly extensive, and I will definitely stop back in for lunch the next time I'm working in the area. They were super quick and got us in and out of there with plenty of time to spare. You can tell that they're used to a business lunch crowd. I can't say the same for all of the restaurants in that area.

Had apps and a martini here last night with a coworker. Bar is nice and large. Drinks were good but the appetizer sampler was amazing. Excellent fried pickles and pretzels with beer cheese. Food came out relatively quick. Attentive staff but not bothersome what so ever like at some places. Highly recommend.

I had heard about this joint for a while because they always did the "Bengals Pep Rally" here. But, had never been. Well...I stopped. And, now, I'll be back. The atmosphere is what I would call, "Uppity Sports Bar" It looks very fancy. The tables are tall and big. The building is enormous. It's just very ritzy for a sports bar...but that's exactly what it is. I just had a normal burger and fries..and HOLY CRAP! It was tasty. The burger tasted almost exactly like one from Ruby Tuesdays, but the bun that it was on was amazing! The fries...also great. My wife had a buffalo chicken egg roll and she like it something fierce. The server we had, Brandy, was amazing. Very attentive, helpful and nice. All in all, it was just a great dining experience.

Went last night, woke up in the middle of the night with food poisoning after finding uncooked areas in my burger which I ordered medium-well. We were sitting outside so that may have contributed to the service which was extremely slow. By the time the waitress came it was too late to even send the burger back since my fiancé had already finished his meal. She cleared the plates then proceeded to take 14 minutes(yes, after the first few minutes I started timing it) to bring our check. My experience may have been a fluke but I will absolutely not be returning.

If your mission is to drink in a loud boisterous place this is the spot. The food is bland and very average. The one thing and the only one thing going for this place is the outdoor patio in season. Save your time and money and go to the Spring House.

Hmmm...its a bar not a grill and the food quality reflects that. Should be called a bar of tavern or simply Firehouse that would insinuate "don't come here to eat".

Nice place.
